E-Energy
"E-Energy - ICT-based energy system of the future" is a funding programme undertaken jointly by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and the Federal Environmental Ministery. It coordinates the smart grid activities in Germany.
DG-Grid
The DG-GRID project has surveyed and investigated current regulation and main barriers for DG integration, the impact of DG on costs and benefits of Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and new business models and regulatory improvements to enhance DG network integration. The project has been funded under the Intelligent Energy Europe programme and ended in 2007.
Improgres
Improgres is a research project coordinated by ECN. It aims to identify possible improvements in the social optimal outcome of market integration of DG/RES in European electricity markets.
SmartGrids
SmartGrids European Technology Platform for Electricity Networks of the Future started in 2005. The platform aims at developing and supporting a vision of European Electricity Network in 2020 and beyond.
