Biography

Elisabeth von Hebel has received an engineering diploma in architecture. Her main research inter-ests are energy efficiency of buildings and energy services, like contracting and illumination. From 1985 until 1987 she worked for the Hochbauamt Celle. From 1987 until 1989 she specialized as an architect on the renovation of buildings under the preservation order within an architect’s office in Hannover. Afterwards, she worked as a research associate in the architecture department at University of Hannover. Between 1991 and 2001, as well as between 2006 and 2010, she worked as a free-lance architect and illumination planner. Further she worked as an illumination planner for one of the world-leading lighting-system producer between 2001 and 2006.
