Dr. Vanessa Liebert
Biography
Since May 2011 Dr. Vanessa Liebert works as post-doctoral fellow at Jacobs University Bremen and is associated researcher to the Bremer Energie Institut. Before joining Jacobs University she has been working as research associate at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen in a project on airport benchmarking funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany. In her PhD thesis Vanessa improved the utilization of non-parametric airport benchmarking approaches for managerial purposes and furthered the understanding of the governance effects in the airport industry. Her general research interests include issues in industrial economics, regulation theory and operations research of network industries with a special focus on airports and electricity markets.
