By order of the KfW, the Bremer Energie Institut conducted an evaluation study on the effects of KfW-financing programmes for non-residential buildings of the communal and social infrastructure. More precisely, the investigated programmes are 'KfW-Kommunalkredit - Energetische Gebäudesanierung', 'Energieeffizient Sanieren - Kommunen' and 'Sozial investieren - Energetische Gebäudesanierung'. The evaluation investigated the effects of the above named programmes for the funding years 2007 to 2010. The study focuses on the energy savings, reduction in CO2-emissions and employment effects.
